Elements export¶
Elements export function provides export of elements from DB, schedule and subjects editor. On audio element export a sound file of the given format is created. On text element export all text information is stored in text file while audio elements present in the source are stored in separate audio files. Export formats are defined for two types: "generic" and "podcasts". The main difference is in the fact that podcast format keeps the defined path for saving of the data being exported. "Generic" format allows selecting the place of storage.
At audio elements export you can define the arbitrary audio format, i.e. set the sampling frequency, bitrate, compression, format. The following parameters are supported:
- Sampling frequency (khz) - 32, 44.1, 48.
- Bitrate (kBit/sec) - 32, 64, 96, 128, 160, 192, 224, 256, 320, 384.
- Compression - PCM, Mpeg 1 Layer 1, Mpeg 1 Layer 2, Mpeg 1 Layer 3
- Stereo, Mono, Joint Stereo, Dual Channel
Export is performed via commands "Publish" and "Copy to…", called from the element context menu or dragging of element to a needed folder on the "File" tab. вызываемых из контекстного меню элемента или переносом элемента в нужную папку на вкладке - Файлы с помощью "мыши". The command "Publish" assumes "podcasts" format while other actions result in "generic" export format.
Export formats may be configured as global (facility wide) or local (working place wide).
Global export format may be configured through:
- Service - General settings - Add. - Audio - Export formats
- Service - General settings - Add. - Audio - Podcasts
To configure local formats during export click "Local formats" button in the export format selection window.
The following parameters of export format are available:
* Export format name
* Audio format - sets the format of audio elements being exported
* File name - the names of the files for exported elements; tags can be used there. Tags can be selected from the list opened by the click on a button to the left from the appropriate field.
* Behaviour of the system if a file with the same name already exists:
* Overwrite - files with the same names will be overwritten.
* Stop - export of the files with the same names will be cancelled and an error message will appear.
* Change name - names of the files will be automatically extended with the generated identifier.

* TEXT field stores the text of the subject.

* Store audio elements of a subject to separate sound files - at export of a subject with audio elements they are stored in separate sound files. (At audio elements export this parameter is ignored). At that the new sound files are named in the following manner:

* .2.mp2
* .3.mp2
