DJin Visual Radio¶
DJin Visual Radio is a new product that brings the concept of visual radio to life. The main purpose of the product is to ease visualization of radio program created on a radio station. The visuals and audio tracks together make up "visual radio" - a sort of a "television" program that can be enjoyed via a radio station’s website or cable, satellite and mobile networks.
The main principle is the primary role of the radio program. In other words, upon the introduction of "visual radio" concept the principles and technology of radio program production are never neglected in favor of the visual part. Radio remains radio while the visuals serve as an accompaniment only. The "radio viever" hears the same thing as whose who use regular radio, the sound and visuals being completely syncronized because they are played back by the same broadcasting player. This last features is unique for DJin Visual Radio.
Another, and no less important principle is the economic feasibility. As we all know, radio generally has less financial possibilities than television. Thus, it is not our aim to turn radio into full-blown television concept. Visualization of radio is a compromise between visual automation (preparation for filming, switching between cameras, search and loading of graphic content, automatic video file playback in sync with the radio program, etc.) and live creative broadcasting process with participation of real hosts, DJ’s and guests. Thanks to DJin Visual Radio the video sequence of a radio program can be spectacular and informative, while still being relatively cheap.
